You walk through the doors and immediately see a wave of tropical prints, bright colors, and people smiling at each other like they’ve known each other forever. It feels relaxed. It feels joyful. It feels like summer in the best possible way.
So all summer long, wear your Hawaiian shirt to church.
The bold one.
The vintage one.
The one covered in giant flowers that only comes out a few times a year.
Around here, Hawaiian Shirt Sundays became one of those traditions everybody looks forward to. Kids love it. Guests jump right in. Entire families coordinate outfits like it’s a competition.
The room fills with laughter before worship even starts.
Then the music kicks in.
The atmosphere shifts.
And we worship together with full hearts.
Summer moves fast.

Tuesdays just got tastier.
Victory Baptist’s Seniors Luncheon Potluck is where old recipes meet new laughs.
Every Tuesday at 11am, the fellowship hall fills with the smell of slow-cooked comfort and the sound of folks catching up.
It’s potluck-style—so bring your best dish or just your best appetite.
You’ll find friendly faces, familiar hymns, and that one guy who always tells the same joke (and somehow makes it funnier each time).
Come hungry, leave happy.

Our Wednesday Family Centric Services turns the middle of the week into a night your family can actually feel excited about.
Families worship together. Music fills the room. Games spark laughter and connection.
Practical preaching speaks to everyday struggles and everyday victories.
Prayer creates moments that stay with you long after the service ends.
Every part of the night is designed to help families slow down, reconnect, and experience God together in a meaningful way.
Parents and kids share the same room, the same worship, and the same moments that build lasting memories and stronger faith.

We’re looking forward to another great Awana year beginning September 2! We are so excited to welcome everyone back and to see how God will grow your children this year in both their knowledge and understanding of His Word.
One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is a strong foundation of biblical truth. Awana gives kids a fun, encouraging place to learn Scripture, build friendships, ask questions, and grow in their understanding of who God is and how His Word applies to their everyday lives.
The Bible reminds us:
“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” – Ephesians 6:4
And:
“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” – 2 Timothy 3:15
Those early years matter, and we count it a privilege to come alongside parents as you teach and encourage your children in their faith. If you haven’t registered yet, we’d love to have your family join us this year!

Backpacks are included for new clubbers only. If your child needs a replacement backpack, they are available for $20.
We’ve also attached a photo of our current Awana leadership team so you can put some faces to the names. We’re grateful for each person who has stepped up to serve and invest in our kids this year!

Our Ladies Game Night is happening Monday, September 14 at 6:30 PM at Victory Baptist Church, and we’re looking forward to a room filled with conversation, laughter, encouragement, and women enjoying time together.
Picture the sound of friends catching up across the room. New conversations starting. Familiar faces lighting up. Someone laughing from the other side of the table. Hearts being encouraged through simple, genuine fellowship.
That’s the kind of Monday evening we’re looking forward to.
Come enjoy time with women who are growing in faith, walking through real life, and finding strength and joy in Christ.

Grab your gear and come spend a few days in the desert with the guys.
We’re heading out to Ocotillo Wells for a good old-fashioned campout, the kind where the fire stays going, the coffee gets poured early, the ATVs get dusty, and nobody’s in a hurry to head home.
Bring your RV or pitch a tent. Bring your son if you have one and give him a few days he’ll remember.
We’ll ride, laugh, sit around the bonfire, open the Bible together, hear some preaching, sing, worship, and enjoy the kind of fellowship that happens naturally when a bunch of men get away together.
Come for one day. Stay for all three. Pull in whenever you can.
The whole thing is free.
So clear a little room on the calendar, load up the truck, grab your Bible, and head for the desert.

Youth Group begins Wednesday, January 7, and it’s more than just a place to hang out.
It’s where friendships form that don’t disappear when life gets messy.
It’s where students learn who they are, and whose they are.
It’s where faith becomes personal, not inherited.
We talk about real stuff.
Anxiety. Identity. Pressure. God.
And we do it in a way that makes sense in the world students are actually living in.
No perfect people required.
No Bible knowledge expected.
Just show up willing.
Because something powerful happens when students gather consistently around truth, laughter, and Jesus.
This could be the season where confidence grows.

As always, we aren’t looking for polished versions of you; we’re looking for the real one.
It’s about arriving weary and leaving seen.
You don’t need a map for the whole journey. You just need a few people to walk with.
